Description
Ideal for wrought-iron fences situated in areas shaded by large trees, near flowerbeds or water features, and characterized by perpetual shade and high humidity. These locations suffer from insufficient sunlight and consistently high air humidity; beyond rusting, the fences are prone to moss and mold growth, which continuously degrades the paint layer.
We design an integrated on-site solution combining rust and mold removal, tailored to the fence’s specific lighting, water accumulation, and vegetation coverage. The process begins by removing biological layers—such as moss and mold—adhering to the old paint surface before proceeding with metal rust removal; failure to thoroughly eliminate mold would lead to rapid erosion and damage of the new paint film. Following rust removal, we apply a moisture-blocking sealant to prevent water vapor from penetrating the metal substrate, and use outdoor-grade topcoats that offer both anti-rust and anti-mold properties. The package also includes recommendations for environmental optimization, such as clearing accumulated leaves and soil from the fence base to improve ventilation and reduce dampness. Additionally, we provide seasonal maintenance guidelines—advising inspections of the fence base before and after the rainy season and prompt repair of minor paint damage—to delay the recurrence of rust at the source.
